Can the instance alias – and therefore the externally accessible URL – be changed?

Yes, in the instance settings, you’ll find an ‘Edit’ button at the top.

Here, you can customise the instance’s alias and, consequently, the externally accessible URL. If the alias name is changed at a later date, the instance will be stopped and users will need to update the URL on their end.
